Welcome to BringLite (“BringLite,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By visiting our website, creating an account, or renting any BringLite power unit (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

1. The Service

BringLite rents portable, solar-powered generator units (“Units”) for temporary power supply to homes, offices, shops, events, and individuals.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Service or these Terms at any time, and we will post changes on this page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to rent or use a BringLite Unit.

3. Orders & Payment

  • All rentals must be booked through bringlite.com, our app (if available), or our customer support team.

  • Prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and may change without prior notice.

  • Full payment (or the required deposit) is due at the time of booking unless we approve another arrangement.

  • You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for any additional fees (such as late returns or damage).

4. Rental Periods & Returns

  • Your rental starts when the Unit is delivered or collected and ends when it is returned to us or picked up by our team.

  • Late returns may incur extra fees as stated during booking.

  • Units must be returned in good working condition.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Unit only for its intended purpose and within the stated wattage capacity.

  • Avoid overloading the Unit with heavy appliances (e.g., refrigerators, air conditioners, industrial equipment) unless the plan specifically allows it.

  • Keep the Unit clean, dry, and secure from theft or damage.

  • Not modify, open, or attempt repairs yourself.

6. Damage, Loss, or Theft

  • You are responsible for the Unit while it is in your care.

  • If the Unit is lost, stolen, or returned with damage beyond normal wear, you may be charged the repair or replacement cost.

  • Built-in GPS tracking helps us recover lost Units.

7. Safety

  • Follow all usage guidelines provided with the Unit.

  • Never operate the Unit in water or expose it to extreme conditions.

  • Our Units have automatic overload protection, but repeated misuse may void your right to future rentals.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us.

9. Limitation of Liability

BringLite is not responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages (loss of data, business interruption, etc.).

  • Power interruptions caused by misuse or circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather).

Our maximum liability will not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific rental.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse our Units.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts of Nigeria.
